Did anybody eared about a trick with the remote control (doors lock/alarm/trunk) that would open the windows before you get in the car?

    Thanks!

ok, it WAS a feature of the first 05's to roll off the line. if you have a early production date and the active alarm, then you could try it. if not, dont waste your time. ford stopped this feature due to windows rolling themselves down. to operate it, i think you hold the unlock button. but again, MOST PEOPLE DONT HAVE THIS FEATURE!!!

I've got it!...With the doors locked hold the open button down and if you have it the windows will rol down. Also if you use your key to lock the doors when you turn the key to the right hold it there and if your windows are down they will roll up

Thanks guys! I'll try it because mine is effectively an early prod...and i'd really like it to work because it's so hot in there when you leave it in the sun!

    Have a good day!

SWEET! I have it too! My car was built in Sept 2004. This was the first I've heard about it...

Don't forget you have to have the factory alarm option too.

Did ford remove the option entirely, or just disable it off the line? If so, couldnt you have them reactivate it?

There's been a number of posts on other boards about this and if I understand correctly there's actually a module that changed. There are people with post april build dates that have tried to get it enabled but it still doesn't work. I believe you can lock both driver and passenger doors with the key turned to the right, then you can have the global window feature re-enabled. If only the driver door locks when you turn the key to the right, you are totally out of luck.
