Price vs. Performance

I have always been in love with Turbos, but im starting to wonder if i could get the same performance with a blower... I've always thought that a s/c would be more expensive, is this usually the case or am i just off in my own little world. Im lookin to get about 10lbs of boost from either a turbo or the s/c. I know this is a highly debated topic, but can anyone with either of these give me a idea of how much they spent vs about how much hp gain they recieved?

Basicly im lookin for the cheapest, most motor friendly way to get to about 350hp to the wheels.

why not go with a vortech supercharger..or get one of those Mongoose Kits from T & J Performance..i've heard nothing but good things about them..
