Look what I just received" It was my order sheet verification from Ford for my 2007 GT500 Convert. It read as follows: t89 Shelby Conv Retail 45755 Dlr invoice 41302 HP Perfor ****e CC 31S G no Grain Mini 50S W Dark Charcoal 68S 850A Order Code 858 .Etc. etc. etc. Gas Guzzler tax $1300 Sirus Radio MSRP 195 DLR COST 170 Premium Trim MSRP 595 DLR COST 518 Blue stripe Shaker 1000 MSRP 1295 DLR COST1127 Frt Lic Brkt MSRP 295 DLR COST 257 2 Us Gal. Gas 5.58 FDAF 312 (this is the Dealer Advertising Fund) Dest and Delivery MSRP745 745 Base and Option MSRP 50,180 DLR Invoice 45,736.58 Also I should note the Dealer was advised that their is a back order of Shaker 1000 units that could delay some orders by 2 months. My Dealr requested Shaker 1000 be taken from one of his allocated Standard Mustang GT's and put in the car..... I should have it in about three to 4 weeks..... so were lookin at Coupes being 40-45k....Bc I'm gonna order mine through Military Exchange New Car Sales,and I'm guaranted below MSRP, next July and get a 2008, But low 40s was my budget, so i should be ok
Pricing-WOW I too got the same result. I ordered the vista blue convert with white striping. I understand that they are running colors on the line, all white coupes and converts and then black cp and converts and so on. Some may receive the orders before others. I was told end of July. I got final pricing on my coupe back on 6/12/06... I'm too lazy to type it all out, so I'll just run down the specs and give you the bottom-line T88 Shelby Coupe Torch Red Gas Guzzler Tax (hey, at least it's not the $3,000 it used to be back when I bought my '95 R-Model..) Top stripe DELETE (I thought that on the red car that's been in all the mags, the bling bling top skunk stripes make the car look like the world's largest Budweiser can..) Premium trim package Shaker 1000 Total including all the nonsense charges: $44865 retail, $41123 dealer invoice I wouldn't install a front license plate holder unless the draconian state I lived in forced me at gunpoint... Luckily, Florida only requires a plate on the rear....
