I am considering buying pulley's for my 97 Cobra and have been reading both positive and negative posts about them. I understand that you can gain a little hp but I am not sure if I want to sacrifice AC and charging for just little gains. Any advice? I was looking at the BBK ones.

Get the Steeda pulleys. I had em on my 99 Cobra and had no charging, AC or other issues. They were great and worth about 10 hp. Worth every penny.

The 5.0's are the ones that have issues with charging and overheating using pulleys...the 4.6's don't have any issues with that...Mine used to run at the beginning of the M in "NORMAL" on the gauge and now it runs at the end of the M...nothing to worry about and the pulleys will give you a nice 5-8rwhp...

I got 10 rwhp dyno proven on the Six, so go for it. It is well worth the money/hp trade off!
