Yeah its a little loud but a little louder wouldn't hurt nothing. I think the cam sound will make me cream my pants though. Is it going to be bad for my engine though if i were to do this and then drive it in the winter? Because i need to drive this car year round.

I don't know how many times I have to say this, but the only place you should be using TC for in snow conditions is on the highway... for stop and go you need to have TC OFF!

Back to topic, you gonna dyno the thing or what Shallow?

Do you guys have a clue as to what a cam install could run me. I don't want to get raped on an install.

you're going to get raped on a cam install unless you do it yourself. just get a few friends together for the weekend who all have decent mechanic skills and a cooler of beer and go for it. modular depot has some great how-to installs for cams on our motors.

depends on what cams.. if you're doing the valvesprings it'll probably be more expensive because most shops will want to pull the heads out to install them. I think MPH says around $650. I installed valvesprings and cams, valvesprings suck ass, but cams aren't bad at all.

I only have like one or two guys that have the knowledge to do it but they are both Chevy Mechanics. I don't know if that matters.

Well do you guys think it will matter or is a motor a motor? I think they may run into problems to be honest.
