low on money and needing to complete my audio system, im only left with the amp. Profile has a large variety of amps, and im looking at the AP1000M. What kind of quality does profile have, will it last for a long time and not short out/blow w/e?

I had one a while ago. It was a huge 600 watt and it lasted me for years until one day I fried it by letting the ground and positive wires touch by mistake. It powered my Kicker Comps and later Kicker XPLs. Decent amp for the money.

I bought a 400w Profile California amp about 10 years ago to power 2 10" Pioneer subs I had at the time. It has been used in my car every year since I bought it, and it's now in my mustang powering 2 8" JL's. It has worked perfectly for 10 years and still going.
If you're looking for a cheap deal just to get you going, you could look at a reconditioned amp. I got one from Profile--although I have yet to install it--. It's 4ch amp and it cost me 45 bucks or so. I bought it directly from Profile and they have a 1 year warranty on them. I think most amps these days carry around a 1 year warranty anyway. I think the amp I got 10 years ago only had a 1 or 2 year warranty. Anyway, just another option if you're tight on money and need to get a descent amp to get you going. I have never had any problems with profile stuff.
