Hey, sorry I haven't been here in a while. My Mustang was getting worked on, it needed a fuel pump and a few other things. Anyway, my friend has a 2003 Cobra hood he salvaged from a junk-yard. He said he would sell it to me for $150. Is this a good deal? I would still have to paint it to match the paint on my car. And will it work with my stock 2001 GT bumper? He told me something about there being a "space" betweehn the bumper and the hood or something?

So why don't you ask your friend to bring it over and test fit it before you buy? i mean if he is your friend, i'm sure he woulndn't mind??

Oh Whats wrong with your fuel pump? And what other things you getting done?

Well he lives 2 hours away. But now I'm not that sure if there is going to be a gap. I thought maybe he didn't know what he was talking about. The fuel pump went out of it not 2 months after I bough t the car. I was also getting the brake lines checked (rusting out!! no clue why!) and my ball joints replaced.
