Hi guys, I'm usually over on the Classic forum but I've got a buddy that has a question about wiring a start button for his '03 GT.

Is the wiring for the start button the same as on an S197?

    Thanks in advance :nice:

I didn't know anyone made a start button for the Stang before the 197.

Well the principle would be the same but all the wire colors are different i would imagine. Also it would need to have the key tapped to the colum. Or do you still have to turn the lock and press the button. Which would seem kinda dumb IMO. I mean if you gotta turn the key anyway why bother with an additional thing to start the car
