Do the V8 11" front brakes stick out farther from the back of the rotor to the top of the hat than the 10" brakes?

I have the spindles for the 11" front brake upgrade and 73mm calipers but have not had them installed yet.

I have some new wheels and had to run two washers on each stud on the front to keep the back lip of the rim off the strut.

I was thinking this is because the depth of the 10" rotor is shorter than the 11" rotor.

This is on my 91LX convertible.

I never noticed a difference when I swapped...

    What kinda wheels?

I had 10-holes on my Mustang, they never rubbed the strut with the 10" brakes or 11".

Not sure of the brand but they are 4 lug 17x9 Cobra R clones and came with P245/45-ZR17's.

They have BBK stickers but my friend and I suspect they are not really BBK's and instead made by a company called Speedware.
