i was wondering how much off a ranger would swap to my stang? i may be able to get a ranger 4cyl, with 5 spd. can i use the tranny and pedals? also will a 5 bolt rear end and front spindles fit my car off a ranger? or will the rims from a 4 bolt ranger work too. right now i got plain rims, and for the mean time want to put any other rims on it. what other cars have the same 4 bolt pattern? i hear escort GT, ranger, cougar or tbird.. but want to verify before i go looking. thanks
The front spindle on the ranger's will not work. I am sure you could get the tranny to work. Is it 4x4 or 2wd? Not sure on the pedals. You should pick up some turbines. They go for cheap money and IMO look damn good.
also does anyone know of an online source for interchanging parts for a mustang? kinda like this but for the mustang.. http://www.coolcats.net/tech/reference/parts.html i live next to a junkyard, (its actually on our property lol) and they usually go through alot of cars, and before the crusher comes in i can salvage parts. so id like to know what cars (or trucks) to watch for. thanks im still trying to figure out how to do the signature thing...but i got a 90 notchback 4cyl auto (for now)
