Re: Waxing new paint, use a sealer first?

    I getting set to put the initial coat of wax on my new paint job (base + clear coat). I'm going to use P21S for the wax. Should I also use a sealer before the wax? Thanks!

    If you use a proper sealant, there wouldnt be a need for a wax, unless you have problems with dust or pollem. Some sealants (Polymers) are a little oilier than most carnaubas....You could "top" the sealant with wax, but wait 24 hrs for the seaalnt to cure......
