Ah, yes; "Welcome to Yuma, let's go to Applebee's" No, no deer..... however the "Fajitas" were probably skunk and/or gopher; and the "Buffalo Wings" were small because roadrunners don't have much in the way of wings

 Sorry bout my absence. Why yes, I am still amongst the living.
I heard something about that jarhead acronym once. :D
As far as that episode of Law and Order, since the Iraqi woman is married to a U.S. citizen , and living in the United States, she is a U.S. citizen, subject to the laws of her respective state. By claiming to be a POW, she is hoping that at the end of the war in Iraq, she will be released as such, as opposed to receiving the death penalty or life imprisonment without the possibility of parole in a state court. What happened in the end?

I will concur with the misguided children part, as I too will soon be joining the corps just as soon as I get 3 years of college out of the way...
And yes, we do ride around in Navy equipment, but that's only because we are a department of the Navy... then MEN'S department :jester:

Congrats to Nokitten and 1/2-goodluck and keep your heads down when ya gotta! I almost got pulled over to the army camp by a really kickass ex-ranger recruiter, best damn recruiter I ever met.

Y'know what? I forgot how it ended!

Mu gripe is that, while the ADA ("Jack Last name?") character is such a purported harda$$; the show's writers haven't got the cajones to script him going to the next logical argument while in the pre-trial dealmaking session. The actor that played his legal adversary (Ron Silver) is in fact such a political conservative/realist (one of the very few that have endorsed "W") that I could imagine him leading the "Hang her for treason" argument.
