Is the moan on tight turns hurting anything,or are the clutch packs just to tight.I dont want to take my mods off just for a trip to the dealer .Thanks

I was wondering the same thing. Mine sounds more like a slight rub or something, not really a moan or groan. It sounds more like a suspension or brake rub. Anybody else notice this when making tight turns?

I too have noticed this. It seems to happen after a little bit longer drives (20 minutes +), and when it’s warmer out. At first I thought it was the brakes, but since most of the driving I do is highway, I don't think I would have enough heat built up in them to groan. I'm guessing it’s the diff, even though it really does sound like wheel or brake rub. I have a friend in Houston with a 06 GT who noticed the same thing, took it to the dealer, and they told him it was all in his head. It may be just me, but it sounds more prevalent when you make tight left turns.

Anyone notice this noise when going straight at low speeds like coasting to a stop, I even hear it while appling the brakes.

I'm just curious to know what this means? I *think* I have noticed a minor whine while decellerating in the past.

We had the same problem with our 06 GT. Dealer replaced the clutch pack and we had 4.10's installed while it was there! Problem solved..... It's a pain in the butt to remove all the mod's before you have to take the car into the dealer but you might reconsider while it's still covered under warranty work! Just make sure to reinstall the STOCK TUNE!!!!!!!

Also its more of a ticking sound than a whine sounds like one click per rotation

I had the same problem it it took a day to fix under warrenty. Then when i took it out for this season i put in 373's anyways. But it is repairable.
