I hate to dig up a thread this old, but Addicted _2_II, did you try the adjustable shock idea? I ran this past spring and summer on it and for stoplight-to-stoplight "arm wrestling" and the occasional burnout, it worked surprisingly well.

However, I just picked up a 3.50 limited-slip ($400!!!! :nice: ) and will be swapping it in for my current 3.0 open. Coupled with the C4 and the 2600 stall, it oughta really pick up and go; I've been told repeatedly that from a bang-for-the-buck standpoint, it's probably the best money I could spend on the car.

No, actually I went with extra lift springs and lift/traction bars with:
    * Mickey Thompson Indy Profile S/S Tires G60-14 (25" Tall) on 9" 5 Spoke Alum Wheels

But what I have now is just a bit too much height in the springs. I am able to tame down the height with the shocks but I am afraid that they will have a short life.

Now when I hammer it going about 25 I still spin only one of the 10” tires but off the line I am now getting 4X’s the traction I was before. I do believe I will get locking Posi some day soon. But I really like the look of the lifted rear! As soon as I get a chance I will take some more pictures.
