Rear end gears?

    i bought a car and i know it has gears in it but i am not sure what ratio. i used a rear end gear ratio calculator that i found on the net and it said i have 4.30's. i dont think this is right. but then again i really dont know. what would a 98 cobra drive like with 4.30 gears.

    At 75 mph you will be at 3000 rpms. First gear is pretty quick

    You cannot use that gear/speed/RPM calculator to find out your gear ratio if your speedo isn't set properly...The only real way of knowing what gears you have is to do what I explained in this thread:
