Well I've tried just about everything suggested to me (except a sledgehammer) to try and dislodge a jammed CD in my CD changer. This has happened to me many times before and I was able to fix it, but this time I can't even see the CD that is stuck and nothing worked to eject it or any other CD for that matter. Instead of taking it in to a car stereo shop, I would like to try and fix this myself. I also seen a link a while back on how to fix the eject problem with these in dash changers which I will probably do as well once I have the unit out. Before I get started, I just need to know if there are any special tools I will need to remove the stereo unit from the dash?

yep, you'll need the Ford stereo removal tools...You can get them at any car audio store, try Best Buy also...

Here's that link on how to clean the CD optics...Dunno if it works on the 6 disk changer though...
