    Hey guys and gals,

As you can tell, I am new to the forum. I have a 1996 Mustang that I bought from an 80 year old women and am getting some body work and new paint job being done to it soon. Anyways, I bought these Nintendo seat covers, but in order to put them on without having to cut them or anything, I need to remove the "black arm" that holds the seatbelts near the seat. In order to do that, I have to remove the headrest to give me enough clearence to get the screws out. Then of course, I will pop the rests back in and put my covers on. I have gotten the little plastic piece immediately under the rest to come up, and I have heard that the release lever/mechanism, whatever you want to call it is in front of the rest on the inside. Any tips on where to go from here? Thanks!

can't you move the seat up towards the dash to have room to get the seatbelt arm off.....I just changed my headrest's and I sat in the back seat unzipped the zipper where the seat and the back rest meet...reach way up and towards the front (on the front side) you will feel a metal clip pry that open with a screwdriver while pulling up on the headrest...Might take a while on the first one but the second one will take less than a minute
