I was just wondering how bad of a job it it to replace the timing belt on a 2.3? I went and looked at a '92 2.3 notch yesterday. It was owned by a woman in her 50's. It has been setting up for about 2 months now. She said it was running great until one moring it just wouldn't start. Her son told her he though it jumped time. I didn't look at it closley, but I assume the timing belt must be worn out. I can get the car for about 250 bucks. The body and interior are in very nice shape. I put a timing chain on my 5.0 so I am sure I can handle the job. Just wanted some advice from the 2.3 experst since I know nothing about the 2.3 engines. Thanks

It's way easier than the 5.0 timing chain...only takes an hour or so if you know what you are doing. I have a how-to on my site.
