How much will my ride quality change w/20's and lowering springs? I can tolerate a little change, but not willing to do a significant change in ride quality. If it's something that just takes getting used to, I can handle that. I have ordered a set of American Racing Black Rogue's and BFG KDW NT's, but the front wheel in 20x8.5 is back ordered for 4-5 weeks so I have time to change my mind if ride quality will suffer.

I've read a couple threads comparing 18's and 20's and all the info. has been opinions on appearance. I personally think the 18's are too small for this car. I agree 19's would have been ideal, but due to lack of options in wheels and tires is what made me choose the 20's.

I'm looking for opinions on ride quality. Are there some springs that have been ride quality than others? I'm looking for a minor drop. I'm leaning toward the FRPP lowering springs due to the price. My wife works for a Ford and Chevy dealer, so I get a little bit of a discount.

I wouldn't drop the car with a set of 20" rims. Mine ride very nice as long as i keep just a little less air in the tire. Also, that leaves a little less foot on the ground and i have gotten so far 41k miles out of my Toyo Proxes 4's. I run a 25530ZR20. Love them and the look but already get a little rub on the inner fender well without a spring drop. Ride is overall a little stiffer you could say.

    Ride quality

H&R Sport Springs drop the car 1" in the front and 7/8" in the rear. The springs are supposed to be 15-20% stiffer but the ride doesn't suffer (?). If you combine that with 20s, there will be a difference. Also depends how well the roads are paved in your area. I live in pothole gulch.

Personally it makes a lowered car handle like crap. Unlowered it's just a poor ride.

But all this is subjective. My opinions are based on performance driving. Not cruising queens which is all 20s are for. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

    i agree 100% w/ you Q...

what do you want out of your car, remember its a muscle car!
    i'm running 18's staggered w/ factory 3.55 pose rear end, i wouldn't
put 20's and screw w/ my gears for looks...

oh by the way 18x10's in the rear w/ 2 inch drop sportlines handles like
    a ferrari...believe me!!!

i know what your going through..its a headache looking for wheels
