I have a 97 v6 auto mustang and it has a pretty bad roaring/vibration noise. At first I thought it was a front wheel bearing so I jacked the car up in the rear and drove it and it was still there. So its not a wheel bearing. Next I swaped out the driveline with another one and it still did it. So it had to be the rear, since I had another 7.5 rear that was rebuilt I put it in it and now it still does it. So what could be the problem? Mine next thought would be the tranny, but it shifts and works flawlessly. Is there a tail shaft bearing or something of that sort that could be causing this? Any suggestions would be great or if anyone would be interested in it how it sits $2500. Thanks! Justin
