So the stang has been getting a heart transplant here for the past couple months and it is back to running again. The block is an aluminum one from a mark 8 kept the stock internals because this was kinda a budget build. I put my P.I gt heads back on with a slight port and swirl dams knocked down to make the compression to 11.1. Put 24 pound injectors in because i had them laying around. I had to break down and buy a new aluminum flywheel from it which came up to 295 shipped. I finally got it back together early last week and started it up last night for the first time. When it started up i smiled from ear to ear because i missed driving the stang for the last couple months. It goes next thursday to get tuned by John Lund what do you guys think it will put down i have all the same mods in my sig but 4.10 are in now

well here is everything i can tell you about it. stock mark 8 block, pi heads with a slight port and the swirl dams knocked down, pi intake, rpm plenum, pro products 75 mm tb, jlt cai, ford racing shorties, pypes off road x, slp lm1s dumped, aluminum flywheel, 4.10s, and 24 pounders. im hoping to get close to 300 at the wheel but not really worried about dyno numbers just how its going to run in the 1/4.

You are still running the PI bump sticks? Some lopey cams would really make that combination come alive.

Just got back from the dyno i got stood up by john lund and have not heard from him, so i went to Johnny Lightning to get tuned. It put down 277 hp and 317 tq. these were the numbers i was looking for considering i have stock cams and no long tubes. I am going to run it hopefully wednesday night to see what she has there. I will post a dyno sheet later tonight

Thanks for the compliments and yes i really need some cams to let it flow better on the intake side but cant go too wild on them because a ptv problems. I am probably going to get the cms stage 1s with there specs of 540/550 lift, 224/226 duration thats close to the max i can probably go. As far as the track on wednesday looks like a chance of rain but i will see how that goes. Ilive about 25 minutes from the track so at 5 it is sunny im on my way to see what shes got in the 1/4.
