so today for the first time in 2 years i moved the 68 to another spot in the yard, where ill pull off the front end and clean the aprons and radiator support and put together the front suspension with all new parts.

I have done a preliminary rust inspection, and there is more rust than i originally anticipated! mostly like by the drip rails and around the window frames (what do you expect for a hawaii car?) I dont want to put a new roof, so im just gonna cut the rust out and clean up that whole area and treat it and then patch it. Same with the window frames and the trunk rail. SO far, the only new body panels i need is the trunk lid, front right fender, and the panel that goes between the rear window and trunklid( those pieces are really rusted) everything else looks okay to repair, some through the body rust in the doorjambs, and right now, it doesent look like the floors are rusted through, maybe some surface rust here and there, but i dont think there is anything major. the doors have a ton of surface rust on the grain area.

So tomorrow, ill do a throrough inspection of all the rust, make note of the areas, and then tomorrow ill post pics. Right now i have to see a man about some new front suspension parts:D

ok then guys, catch ya later.
