im looking to replace the HID's to 8000K instead of the stock 5000K. Does anyone know the correct bulb number? Also, does anyone know what is involved in remove the bulb? i have a lift and looked under the car. It seems that i need to remove the front facia. thoughts? Thanks again. :SNSign:
Bulb/bumper removal Hi there, I just bought a set of Saleen HID to install onto my '06 V6 and it's going to be quite a challenge. Yes, you have to remove the front bumper cover to remove the light(s). Then, if yours are anything like mine, remove the rubber cover to the bulb and see if you can disconnect the silver square connector from the bulb. Then unscrew the 2 mounting torx bolts and remove the bulb. I don't know what's more intensive, removing the bumper cover or removing the bulb!! The bulb was a pain in the A*s to remove!! Bulb # is D1S. Sylvania / Osram p/n 66043 Hope this helps.
