I will just be sending mine in tomorrow. They may wait and mail a bulk amount out closer to the show date. One thing I want to check into is if the organizers have broken out the '05 Saleens into their own class yet. The registration form still has the '05s grouped with the '99-'04s.
Confirmations?!? I still haven't received an entry form yet I've attended the past 3 years. What are they waiting for???
I think the '99-'04 coupe class is typically the largest anyway. We don't need to add another hundred '05s to the mix. No one has ever sent me a registration for the show. Always had to do the legwork myself. Here is the link to the registration form.
I would think the 05's would be a popular vote class by itself. Normally the 2 newest years are popular vote only as they are just too new of a car. I wish I could make the trip out there. This is the show in Cal. correct?
The 05's have to have a seperate class. No other class with the Saleens are sharing a class. Last year we had 13 coupes in the 1999-2004 and the year before we had 14. When I brought this to Liz's attention at the Knott's Show she assured me it was a type-o and the 05 Saleen's would be in there own class. It wouldn't make much sense to print up another 500 flyers with the classess corrected, a waste of paper and ink.....If enough people email her reminding her of the error, I'm sure she will make sure the cars are broken up in the proper classess. If, for some reason they are not, we can all yell at our good friend Frank Morales as he is in charge of the show yet again. I gave him a big ear full last year about splitting up the 94-98 Saleen Class and look what happened......... Two classes this year
Well, Just so everyone knows, I wont be purchasing any raffle tickets this year. How embarassing was that last year.
I wasn't going to bring it up. That’s an honorable thing to do, Marcus. This year someone else will have a chance at winning a prize. Now that you mention it, the moment we actually met in person was when you were trying to figure out how to pack all your winnings into the Speedster.
If I would have been you last year, I would have flown straight to Vegas. With that kind of luck, you would have cleaned up!!
Got my confirmation today. I forgot I even sent in the registration. I had another form filled out and was about to mail it in. Damn, I'm losing it.
