shakes in nuetral

    I have buddy car is all stock got some miles on it. Drives fine but when the car is started and put in gear it shakes, but as long as it is in park it doesn't. Any ideas.....everything else seems to be normal? TIA

    Open the hood and have someone sit in the car and put it in gear. Watch and see if the engine is shaking, if it isn't id have to say its the torque converter

    i bet its an auto.... yet another reason to never buy an auto mustang ..... change the fluid and it might help for a bit... just part of it, if its not tranny related then its probably in need of plugs/plugwires/coil pack/fuel filter change little things like that you can check.

    Mine does(did) the same thing. I changed my spark plugs and it stopped. They're cheap and it solved the problem.
