Shelby Stripes - Paint or Decal

    I have a 2007 Shelby Convertible, which was not produced with the center stripes. I am considering having the stripes painted on versus using the decal striping kit.

    Does anyone have an opinion as to whether this would affect the value of the car to use paint rather than 'stock' material? I think the painting would wear and look better.

    I have always painted my stripes on all my cars...actually except my last one where I used vinyl.

    Anyway, usually painted is seen as better...

    I am pondering the idea of painting my stripes on my car...removing the vinyl and painting them on. Vinyl does not age well and is taking a beating in the front with all the bugs and rocks.

    I say paint!!!
