I got a Hurst Shifter shift knob... says it'll fit 83-00 Mustangs, but the thread size is 12mm x 1.5 not the Mustang's 12mm x 1.75.. what gives? I have the tri-ax, I really like the feel of the t-handle (pulling down, pushing up...more comfortable and in character with the car) I'm thinking of taking it back and just ordering one I know for sure will work... any suggestions? (remember, I want a t-handle)
