How do you guys do it?

    Im a penny pincher.

I trade when possible, buy used when possible, on sale if I cant get it used, retail if there is no other choice and I want it bad enough.

I never, never finance a mod on credit. If I cant pay cash, I dont get it.

The upside is I usually have very little in my cars in actual cash out of my pocket. On a new car 1-5K, depends on how far I go and how long I keep it.

The downside is I have to wait and drool over other peoples mods while Im looking for a good deal.

This time around its not so bad. Im keeping this Stang for a long time, so if it takes several years to do everything I want to do, thats ok, it will keep me interested.

So how about it? Any compulsive buyers? Any buyers remorse?

I know what you mean. There are so many things I want to do to this car it's not even funny. But I have a daughter going to college and trying to pay off all credit card debt first before I start doing too much.

I did manage to get some rear window scoops and side scoops but that's it for now. I really wanted my car to look different than anyone else's for the time being.

I'll have to hold off on any additional mods for a few years but I'm in the same boat as you. I'll have this car forever so waiting to do any more mods won't be too bad.

    Good luck.

I work more if I want more. I have the luxury of being able to do that pretty much when I want. I use my credit card but try to pay it off before I use it again. It should be paid off by the time I get my X-Charger(or Powerhouse turbo?). :D

I try to always pay cash too ... but that sure slows down the fun.

I save up and pay for it, put some money aside each pay check. I don't want to have to use the credit card. Though for Mikes turbo, I'm afraid I will give in and use it, but trying not to.
