shops that do swaps thread

    I have an idea for a permanent thread. Since the s197 has been out awhile, it seems the 5.4 swap is alot more common and alot more shops are doing it. WOuld it be possible to have a thread on different shops that do it and customers' experiences with them?

    I mentioned this swap when I first got my S197, everyone seem to think that I would be better off to build the 4.6 as the 5.4 is a factory slug, so I don't know.

    The problem with the 5.4 is the taller deck height means you can't use the 4.6 intake. I don't know much about any of the intakes that fit the 5.4, but all the ones from ford either have a supercharger or are built for a truck. You could use a custom intake, but those are short runner pieces best suited for blown or turboed cars. This may also cause problems with LT header fitment.
