Who makes a good short throw shifter? I've heard alot about moving the shifter back, but nothing about a short throw.

    Thanks,

MGW, Steeda, Hurst & Pro 5.0 are all thousands times better then stock........

    All a matter of preferance.

So just pick one and be happy !

Even though I currently run a Pro 5.0 with an MGW handle and knob, I agree with missouri_guy197. MGW has the best shifter on the market today.

How about the UPR Blue Thunder? I may sooner or later get that since the price is very right.

Most of UPR's stuff are knock-offs of genuine products designed and manufactured by others. I refuse to purchase anything from them anymore. Don't get me wrong... I'm not saying their stuff is inferior... I just don't care for their business practices is all.

    I agree...

And after using the MGW shifter the price difference is definately worth it...and actually if you look at it, it's only about $10 more than a new Steeda Triax and about the same as a new Pro5.0...the UPR one does look like a cheap knock off of the Triax to me...

I was nervous about the height of the mgw, with the blue handle, glad I got it. they only have 1 handle now, but it is an awesome shifter. my friend with an 03 has one in his and loves it.

I just ordered the red handle MGW shifter and received the ORANGE. Put it in my 99 Cobra less than two weeks ago and it is perfect. Also changed the trans fluid and added AMSOIL SYNTHETIC. I have never used the Blue or Red shifter but the Orange has made a believer out of me. The shifter is also as quiet or quieter than the stock one was.
