Should I buy the B springs?

I have been thinking about lowering my car for about a month now. After all the research, I am very close to purchasing the Ford B springs. Their rating is 425/530 lb./in. front - 200/300 lb./in rear. They are suposed to lower the car 1.2 in. front, and 1 in. rear. It's not much, but enough for me. Also, I believe (but I might be wrong) that they sacrifice the ride the least. So, all I want to know is if anybody knows anything specificly bad about these springs, that I should know before I put the money down. Also, I will probably need different shocks/struts. What exact model should I buy? I need something that would fit the B springs, but again not sacrifice the ride too much.

I hope I don't sound like a newb, but I just want to benefit from other people's experience. :D
