should i buy a 96 4.6

    i guy i ran into has a 96 mustang gt it looks like it needs work inside and out he told me he was tirng to sell the car in 2 months for 1000 dollars is it worth it or should i keep looking

    if this is going to be your daily driver then hell no, i wouldn't trust it

    for $1000 i can see a teal '94 v6 with 210,000 miles, poor paint, 3 hubcaps and beat up interior

    not a '96 gt, unless it needs an engine and/or trans or it has an ungodly amount of miles on it



    for a weekend project car i say go for it:nice:

    96 for 1000

    no it wont be a daily driver it is a convertable the guy said he had it for 5 yrs it was his ex's car it has 135000 miles may need some eingine work but i have seen it run mind u it was only pullling out of a parking lot but honestly i dont know that this guy reallty know that he can charge more that what he is selling it for he didnt drive it his ex girl did

    Make sure this guy is for real. I've heard of some people buying a car for cheap and getting arrested at the DMV for trying to register a stolen car. If everything is legit, go for it, but be prepared to dump some $$ into it. A new top and a used PI engine will wake it up nicely.
