Should I get the 2004 Cobra with chrome wheels or just get the regular wheels? They are a $695 option. Is chrome too over the top? Also, are they harder to clean and do they get scratched easily? I live in the Northeast and the car would see salt covered roads. What are the pros and cons for chrome?

Dude skip the chrome, I have them, and while they look really good when clean, they are a pain in the ass to keep clean. Wish I'd have gotten the brushed. However, if you are hip on chrome, get the stock ones and I'll trade you.

I think the non-chrome wheels look great on silver and that is the color I want. Chrome only looks good on dark colors IMO.

The machine faced wheels look better in my opinion. But then again, I don't like chrome wheels at all

Chrome is sweet, but the brushed also looks good. Save the money, you will probably be buying wider wheels down the road to accomodate some huge meats. :p
