Engine Silicone Vac Lines

1. Has anyone the silicone vac lines in kit form on Ebay? Are the thicker lines any good?
2. Opinions on color- black to blend in with the black valve covers, brackets etc. & blend in with the gray alluminum? Or Red to go with the body, ignition components and lettering on the intake plate?

I figured by now someone would tell me red lines on a red car is good, tacky or ricer.
