It's time for the underdog to step into the ring. For those who want a showroom shine on their Mustangs, but can't afford Zaino products, try Simply Z-Best Car Wax ($19.95 for two bottles).

I first discovered this wax at this year's L.A. Auto Show, when I dropped by the company's booth. It made my 1999 Civic HX Coupe look brand new, as it stripped the blemishes off the paint job like they weren't there. It also removed the oxidation off the headlights.

And ever since I got my Mustang V6, I don't use any wax other than Simply Z-Best. Zaino may be good, but the results are usually noticeable only on darker colors. With Simply Z-Best, I get great results when I see them on my color.

Good find. It looks like that stuff really makes the flakes in your paint pop nice.

If it does that, sounds kinda harsh for paint use. :x

Not at all. Most carnauba-based waxes are formulated to cut through oxidation, while at the same time, maintaining a glossy finish. Besides, it takes a lot of hard rubbing to remove the oxidation off the headlights.

Simply Z-Best also has a tire shine. Haven't had a chance to take pics of my tires, but here are the results on the engine and mirror covers:

Is that a wax or a polish?

Why do you have their logo in your pics. I dont know but it seems you do work for them.

I am not knocking the product because I have some and it does work very well. Its no better than most top quality products but still nice.

I just wanted to shamelessly plug their products. :jester:

I will admit that Zaino may look better, but like I said earlier, it's only noticeable on black or dark colors. Being on a tight budget and having to work six days a week, I don't have the time or money to use Zaino or any of those fancy products. I want something that works fast, looks great and lasts a long time. Besides, my job is in a bad neighborhood, and having an extremely shiny car is asking for trouble.

I've used it for years and love it. It has my vote over most other waxes.
