Anybody have any input good or bad on the "slp powerflo axle backs? Saw them at American Muscle for what i think is a good price .I drive an 09 Bullitt and want the tone just a bit louder. Not annoyingly loud but just a bit more then the stock bullitt system.
I have them. They sound good. I have them with the stock H Pipe for my GT. I'm getting ready to install Kooks Long Tubes with a High Flow Cats, so I expect them to really come to life. The quality of them is exceptional. They have the dual walled tips and look fantastic in my opinion.
Got em from American Muscle for about $11 less with the extra hardware kit and free shipping. Thanks to my IMBOC discount. Thanks again for the input. Can't wait to hear them.
i too have been looking at these, do you happen to have any pics or especially sound clips? not too many sound clips of this axle back. i like these alot because of the tips, the sharper rolled edges look the best imo... post up pics and vids if you have them pleaseeee!!!!!

yeah i've been to mustangexhaust.com, not real impressed at all with that site at least for s197's. only 17 clips for 05 and up GT's. i'm up in the air on either the slp powerflo axle backs or the pipes mid muffler system. guess i'll flip a coin haha. i like both systems and have heard about ever combo with the pypes and it sounds great but i cant get over how good this slp setup looks, and it sounds descent to boot
Did the install today . They look great but they sound better then great. Just what I wanted good throaty sound at idle . Getting on the gas now really opens up a whole sound dimension that this car did not have before. Down shifting from 5th to 4th at highway speed to pass rewards you with a wonderful roar. Love em .
could you post some pics up now that you've got them installed? a start up / drive by video would be killer too!

thanks for the pics erzats, i appreciate it. i've listened to everything in that ultimate exhaust thread about a hundred times but since the above mentioned were the powerflo's i thought i'd ask for another vid and some pics thats all. not too many images or vids of them
