I had the Eibach Pro Kit installed last week, and I got the front end aligned yesterday. On the drive home, sitting at the stop light, I noticed my exhaust was smelling really bad. Even driving down the road, every now and then it would circulate into the car and make me think something was burning. Once I got home, I also saw as I was driving the car onto the wheel ramps, it was producing some pretty heavy smoke which, again, smelled like something was burning. After I let it cool, I crawled up under the car to see if I could locate something, anything, that might explain what was going on. Nothing. But I did notice that there is oil residue right along where the tranny bolts up to the engine on the drivers side that the little barcode sticker on the engine was half way hanging off Also, just a few days ago, actually the day I got it back from being lowered, my CEL came on. I've had a Bassani x pipe with the comp cats on there for about a month with no problems, but could not help thinking that might be what is throwing the code?? Monday I am going to the dealer to get the codes scanned, and have them look at the oil spots. Anyone else have this happen?
only bad smell i got was when i drove over a plastic bag and it stuck to my exhaust, took forever to scrape it all off, but it stank
