hey folks, i have the older mach 460 audio system, the casette unit with a seperate cd player. i want to put in the mach 1000 audio system rack and subwoofers from the 2002 onwards mustangs. is it possible? what do you need to do to make it work?
I used the mach 1000 rack and enclosures/mounts. I installed my own amp and subs. I'm very happy with it.
I would say F-That to the whole thing. That's gonna be a big headache as your gonna possibly need all the wiring that is in the doors, dash and under the carpets. It would just be a lot easier to wire in a whole new aftermarket system and more than likely cheaper as most of the mach 1000 sytems for sale are posted by people who are pretty proud of them which is reflected in the price.
