It's been pretty nice up here for quite a while, 0-10* C (canadian eh), all of a sudden this morning it starts snowing! and won't stop! Its nearly a foot deep after just today! yesterday there was none and i was walking around in a tshirt! anyways, i had to drive the stang a couple blocks tonight, ended up doing a 270* spin ( while driving straight at about 20 km/h btw), blocking both lanes of traffic for about 5 min to get it turned around because the road was wet so now its like a skating rink with a foot of snow on it! so i got turned around, drove bout 10 feet, and the car just slid sideways, in slow motion off the side of the road! the tires were'nt spinning, just sliding, all 4 because of the slight slope on the road its so insane! so i ended up getting pushed to a side street and walking a couple blocks to where i was going. never seen it so slippery!

That quattro sounds kind of like my first car. A VW quantum synchro wagon. It had a 5 cylinder audi engine, 5 speed, and AWD. It was a blast to drive. Used to go tearing up local orchards until running over a stump tore off my rear bumper. Not wanting to totally destroy the car I stopped doing that. Was still a fun car. Used to do all wheel burnouts.

Yeah when I read your post I was thinking oh crap lucky no one slammed into you or you slammed into anything like an embankment. Glad you and your car are safe. Try and make it to school if you can it's getting near the end of the semester. I feel hecka guilty if I miss any days. Good luck.

i think it'll all be gone in a couple days, hopefully for good! i don't think i would've done much damage if i crashed, i was going SOOO slow, but i just couldn't steer at all. there were some idiots in big trucks honking, ... like i'm doing this on pupose or something! i was ready to lose it! yeah! i like to have my car sitting sideways on an icy road at night!???? SORRY! instead of honking they coulda maybe helped?????

i only have a lab tomorrow, and my teachers (except 1) are all pretty cool. i'll just give her a call and tell her i'll hand in my project wed., i'm sure it'll be fine. i only have 4 days left of school before finals. :nice: then i can try and make some money to pay for gas!

It made a few attempts to snow here. Basically touched the ground and melted. Our snow came from what was left of what got you. I am about 80 miles south of the border here. I changed the oil in the stang today and had to back it out to put it back in it's spot so I could get my truck in the garage and snow touched my car for the first time! I thought I could feel her shiver for a sec.

Hahaha did you see that caption thread earlier of Hillary Clinton? They just showed it on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Yeah Poneypower asked me last night if we should start a stangnet night crew cuz he and I are always lurking. When I suggested a death metal brigade from hell I think I lost him.

    Thats rediculous.

I pay 131$ a month for my 1991 GT AND my 1991 eagle premier. Not too bad for a 25 year old.
