Hey guys, I was just wondering who here on the forums is in Southern California? Getting my stang back a few weeks ago, Its been absolute blast driving around here. There so many other classic stang owners around, every few days I see another classic on the road. Its a lot of fun stopping at a stoplight and having small talk with another owner. The other day I was going to school and a 67 or 68 stang comes up, we briefly talk about engines in each car, and go off.
there's another stang on olive in burbank that I tend to see every so often, he's young like me!

Just curious :D its fun gettn to know ppl on the forums then actually seeing them in real life.

Where are the Graffitti nights around down there? Maybe you can get together with a couple of the people from this forum there.

Mustangs rolling around burbank you say? I'm in burbank and take out my 67 fastback every so often and I'm fairly young (26 is young). Mine is red with white stripes and TTs. Wonder if it's my car you see every so often?!

I'm in the san gabriel valley. I have a friend out in burbank, i've never taken my 67 out there yet though. I usually just roll in my 01 GT when i go anywhere further than 20 miles.

Ic, Usually there are antique car shows out here next to the NBC studios, Never been to one but i've drove by them a few times and have seen mustangs there.

Oh you know the guy with the 70 mustang on Overhauln'? They painted it this beautiful blue and put a boss engine in it? I saw that dude on the streets! I was driving my stang and he was crossing the road with his daughters, Wasn't driving his stang but wow i loved what foose did to his car. I zoomed by and when i saw his face i was like I KNOW THAT GUY! but by then it was too late, traffic was behind me.

I know the post is a little old but I'm starting to get back into the Mustang groove since I'm kind forced to rebuild my blown engine. I'm in the Thousand Oaks area....but always around LA county. In all honesty, I've been pretty annoyed with classic mustang owners on the road over the last decade. As a teenager till now, about 8 time out of 10 classic mustang owners won't even look at me OR my favorite is they glance over at me, snicker and look away. It's quite strange because I have a Honda S2000 as well and the camaraderie between us S2000 guys is WAY better. If I don't see an S2000 person wave, smile, or give me the thumbs-up I'm actually quite shocked.

ANYWAY, my fastback should be up and running in a month or less (I have to rebuild the entire engine).....so hopefully I'll see you out there.

Really? i guess im guilty for the snicker, but i mean if i see some1 looking at the car and smiling i'll give a wave or something. But if i do see a fellow mustang on the road i do usually get a thumbs up or a wave.

Oh i know, i've seen some wrx's, they have a really cool camaraderie, the other day I was driving in another car, and i see this huge line of wrxs going up a bridge, there must've been at least 25 of them in a row, i was like wow!

Mine is currently in the garage too, i'm redoing the interior, POR 15ing the floor pans, adding a new sound dampening, the right color carpet, and a kicking sound system.

My parents go out to thousand oaks practically every day
