Anyone going to thatcar show at the Del Mar Fairgrounds? Me and a buddy who is also into cars are planning to go this weekend. I heard they have some mustangs and sounds like they have some interesting cars.

Side note, I'm in the shop today and I get on the computer, look at yahoo and said hey guys, did ya know we had an earthquake 5 minutes ago?

Seriously, for an earthquake that wasn't to far north and was supposedly felt in San Diego, we didn't feel SQUAT! How WEAK!

What does worry me (though I'm not a seismologist or a geologist) is that being 3 minor ones in the past week could this forshadow a big one?

There were a few on the first day but I didn't see any on the way out. A nice cal special but that’s about it for my interest. You should check out the show every Wednesday night in El Cajon on Main Street. I know it’s a little further then Del Mar but way worth it. I might have my car out there in a couple weeks….?

Was that Cali Spec red w/white interior? AZ plates? Reason that I'm asking is that I saw the couple that lives a block or two down from our block packing up their baby a few days ago; getting ready for a cruise. Asked them where they were going; "San Diego!"

    Just curious.

That recent quake was near the San Andrea fault (a really major fault). Some say that it may be a pre quake to a larger one. Living in SoCal, you always have to be ready for that big one.

Have fun in San Diego, it's a really nice place.

Noted. And previously aware. Georgia (oddly enough) is on a fault also, just not as nearly active of one.

My take on california in general: nice place to visit, but sorry place to live. Too damned expensive, and I'm not getting COLA to make up for it. Not that I'm complaining, per diem is nice.
