wow... I never seen the cheapest of mustangs with black/gray/red interior before.... Mine is black/gray/charcoal/darkred Cause I have my 84 GT350 front and rear seats...I got my hatch seats to work in my coupe now it looks nice inside...I just need to take some 93GT hatch pannels and cut them down to make it look like it came that way... just got to figure out a latch thing to keep the seats close to the rear deck. Welcome to the world of mustangs and stangnet! Good find on the car, I payed 150$ more for mine and I have to replace the front clip and the computer. Oh and check if you have a jack cause I dident get one when I got my car and I was stuck out on a hiway walking home at 2:30 AM cold as everliving ****...all cause I hit a skunk :*(
The previous owner probably just threw in whatever floor mats he could fine, the rest of it is normal.
Great car, as I bought a $500 89 notch 2.3 last month. Body has some battle scars, but other wise is ok. With a trans swap and a couple dozen other fixes, it seems to be running great. Its dark blue with a light blue interior. I found an armrest in the salvage yard a couple weeks ago, so the int is complete, it worn. Even the ac works. I have two 5.0's and I have just gotten to really like driving my quiet, comfortable, and smooth little LX a lot. Especially since it uses a lot less gas than my other vehicles.
Are you all sure the interior is supposed to look like that? I have a 90 and 93 coupe and neither of them have Different color dashes the 93 has the same red interior complete and the 90 has the gray complete. This is a good buy though my 90 came my way for $400 and only needed a muffler!
my coupe has the same interior color... and my previous 88 hatch had the same too. black/porno red. Gotta love it! I plan on adding some black carpet to mine to get rid of some of the red.
umm my 87 hatch is dark blue with light blue interior( i want to switch to grey i hate the blue on blue) oh yea and i paid a grand total of 0$ for the car lol lata
good buy... the interior is black and red, stock style. the sun washed out the top making it appear to be dark gray. the floormats are just gray floormats...you could put neon green floormats in there if you wanted to... and yes 4 banger cars and 87-88 LX 5.0's did come with blue interior...92 and 93 4cyl even had ALL BLUE (no black on top) and on top of that, all stangs (2.3 and 5.0) could get ALL RED in 92 and 93 as well....
