After a short stop at Wal-Mart today, I noticed a scratch on my trunk and rear glass. Some A-hole made a scratch beginning about a foot up on the glass and all away across the trunk and spoiler.
I was able to get most of it out with some good wax and a little buffing. It was getting dark so I don't know what it will look like in the light.
I don't understand why someone would do something like that. This was near the door, with lots of people around.
I would never do that to someone else.

Walmart security cameras probably wont do any good cause they let the trees grow up and allow many blind spots. Sorry man, makes you wanna go park up there and sit and watch.

You can't have anything nice these days, noone has respect for other people's property. Whenever I go to a store like that I park all the way in the very end of the lot where none of the useless lazy ingrates will bother going.

Whatever. The second I do that, some soccer mom parks RIGHT next to me and lets her gaggle of bastard children out. Its happend to me like 4 times. I'll be at the second to farthest away parking spot. I come back out and low and behold, some turd bucket is parked right next to me.

That exact thing happened to me today. I parked in the very fartherst spot from the grocery store entrance, must have been 6 spaces away from the nearest car. When I came out 10 minutes later, all the spots around my car were filled. Mustangs must be like minivan magnets or something.

Stan. Sorry to hear about the scratch. Hopefully it will all buff out fine. My good friend in highschool had a 5.0 Mustang convertible, and had to have the top replaced twice because people poked holes in it. I am worried that vandalism is part of the deal when you own a mustang. You know, because Dodge and Chevy folks have no decorum. ;)

Sorry about the damage to your Mustang.

I have a white Mustang, and I think blue Le Mans stripes would look really good. I also think it would be a magnet for vandalism, so no stripes. This is the world in which we live, and it's the only world we have.

The good news is that I think I was able to buff most of it out. The bad news is that we unfortunately do live in the kind of world where people will do this stuff to others.
If people were only kind and nice to each other, imagine how much better off we all would be.

Perhaps you live somewhere where you have nicer things than most people, and that promotes jealousy and mean spiritedness. If you park in far away spaces, people know exactly what you want to avoid. Try parking inbetween 2 nice cars and hope the owners dont leave before you.

Then there are those who hog up 2 parking spaces (hate that). In that case, someone should use a big sharpie and write on the hood, "This will buff out."

Also there are Hummers that park in "compact" spaces. My sister in law had a terrible putting my year old nephew in her car that day.

Sorry to hear of your incident. :(
