I have a 92 mustang with the stock EQ and stock amp with a Alpine head unit. The sound shuts off if you rev the car above 2000rpm or if you use anything electronic in the car. If you hit the break it shuts the sound off, use the head llights, mirrors, anything. The radio will not work with the headlights on. I tried running a new power wire from the battery and ground but it did not seem to help. Its very annoying. I think its the stock amp but I really dont know. PLease Help. Thanks

Does the radio stay on when the sound disappears? If no, then its the wiring to the radio. If the radio stays on, then its gotta be a short somewhere between the radio and the amps.

Check Your Ground , that happens if the ant is working as a ground only.
