Ok if you read my recent post titled oil change disaster I explained how i had changed my oil and got a check engine light. Today Autozone pulled the code and it was my passenger side 02 senor so im going to have to call rpmoutlet and see if they will replace my month old MILS. Well this is were the title comes in. So im driving home from autozone and I start to listin to my engine. Now this sound I hear ive always heard with with the flowmasters and prochamber it just seems to be louder and more sensitive now. Now ive never heard what detonation sounds like and tellin me that pinging is the sound doesnt help one bit. So Im driving and listening to my engine trying to figure out if it just the sound of the motor or detionation or defective heads. Im so pissed about my car im starting to not care about it anymore ive acutal come to hate Fuel injecton because it only makes things more complicated. All EFI does it enhance the mixture for fuel economy and emission if that **** didnt exist we would all have carbs still. Any how I love the sound sound of a rumbley V-8 it just that the 4.6 sounds like somethings about to go. Im actualy so scared about this 02 sensor and detonation that im thinking of just puting back on the stock H and as for the cylinder head well **** how I am suposted to listen for the sound of a pencil tapping on a desk when my motor is rumbling? I dont know what to do maybe its just me all i know is that im done moding the motor cause modular is cheap. Isnt that the whole point?
