I was wondering if anyone could help me out by telling me what i should put in my Mustang to make it faster? I'm not real smart when it comes to this kind of stuff as you can tell, but was wondering if anyone would help me out?

I have a 1998 Mustang V6. Ill be happy with gettin 250 to 300 hp out of it, if anyone will help me out I'd appreciate it.

Go to supersixmotorsports.com or moranav6racing.com. there's many options. Supersix has pwr paks that include stage 2, 2+,stage 3 etc.. that includes matching Cam, Intake and heads. 70 to 90hp approx gains naturally aspirated.
They have complete stroker engines, short blocks, etc..
Do you have a auto or manual trans ?, gears, torque converter, true dual exaust, CAI, competition clutch, pressure plate kit etc.. if it's a manual ?
The 01-04 block however are the strongest. May want to talk to Tom Yentzer at supersix or tom at moranav6racing.com about that stuff too if your serious about making some serious HP from your 3.8L engine.
Also, what you do depends on how much money you have to spend. The pwr paks aren't cheap. Start at about 2000, stage 3 about 3000 bucks. Then you need to buy the install kit etc...as well. If you plan on doing it yourself or having a shop do it, it will be another 800 approx. depending on the shop.

I started with dual exhausts and cold air intake. Thats probably the cheapest and easiest way to go in the beginning. I definitly feel a lot more pep out of the car since doing those two improvements.

    :nice:
I agree. CAI plus dual exhaust is a cheap thrill.
I was amazed a the increase in power. This a mountainess State and with Interstate speed of 75mph the drag down while climbing hills has pretty much disappeared. Big improvement. Try this change first, before spending a lot. You may be impressed.

Whatever route you take [turbo, twin turbo, supercharger, stroker, etc] and however you go about to get that stuff, its not going to be cheap. Youll find a deal here and there but youll have to definately pay to play. I think within the past 4 years Ive invested an extra $20,000 into my car, definately a hobby thatll dent the bank account, but hella worth it in the end, IMHO.
