Ok, its graduation time and money is already rolling in. The stang in still bone stock and it needs something. Sound is forsure what Im looking for along with looks. My combo would be BBK off/H with the spintech side exhaust. Will this fit a 98 GT... Im thinking it will.

I know that spintech is quite at idle but thats alright. Everyone has flowmaster and i rarely hear of any one that has side exhaust unless u have a roush or seomthing. I love the looks of it. Not looking all that much into performance... Ive heard it robs some HP, but roush cars are high performance and they have side exhaust so it cant be that bad.

Give me some advice on this... Id also like to know if i could do this my self... is it bolt-on? I think i could prolly have it installed for $60 bucks but who wants to pay it when it could be possible to do it urself?

Also is there anywhere i can find these parts for a Cheaper price than from the acutal company?

    Thanks in advance.

There is a company called Midwest Speed that deals with Spintech. Stay far away from these people. Thier prices are good, but it takes forever to get your product. I would probably just go through Spintech.

BTW, that should be a mean-sounding combo when you get it.

yes... call directly for spintech... there's a spintech side exhaust on ebay right now! so you might want to check that out...

I dunno... i was planning on doing Spintech side exhaust and prochamber, but once i got the spintech on it was sooo loud that another mod to the exhaust would get my neighbors pissy mad... and some girls stopped riding with me because it gave them headaches...

This is my 1 chamber flow master side exhaust. It is loud as hell with my LTs and o/r H-pipe. Its only loud when you open it up not at idle.

I had a spintech on my Formula and it sounded almost the same as my friends with flows. Only thing i didn't like was at a high rpm it was farting.

This was on another car so i don't know what it would sound like on a stang.

If you get the spintech side exhaust. Post how it sounds, I'd like to hear what it would sound like on a stang.

So i guess we have some SpinTech lovers here. Now im still in the process of getting my dad for fork over the grad. money for this. He said he doesnt want anything illegal on my car. But i think i can get away with the H pipe.

Would the exhaust be to Loud with the off/H?

Also i need replies on the install... if i could do it myself id like to... im just that type of person. Plus its cheaper.

Where are you guys finding Spintech side exhausts? The only place I've found online that has any pricing info was Spintech's site itself.

I had spintech pro street muffs on a gt with a mac o/r H pipe and it was the loudest thing I have ever heard on a street car here.... a side exhaust would be even louder, however, MM+FF dynoed them at a 17 Hp gain, and I can confirm that. But you might get pulled over because they def. go over the legal decibal level if you are behind it, or in your case, beside it. Different kind of sound too, more high pitched crackly instead of deep. But it does sound mean. I still have my other spintechs in storage (pro-SPORT) mufflers, these produce the same power, but are not as offensive, these are the ones on the spintech website that you can see the video too on a stang.

Where did you get a flowmaster side exhaust? Is that a custom install or did you get it as a kit?
