Split-port Swap??

    I post a thread about changing my 97' V6 engine for a V6 00"+ and I got something about Split-port Swap... :shrug: Can you guys explain me a little bit about it...?
    If I find a nice/low milage engine 00'+ Do I also have to get a newer transmission?

    You'd definitely need new muffler bearings and a flux capacitor.

    A split port swap consists of a modified fuel rail, 99+ upper and lower intakes, 99+ heads, and a chip. Now you will also probably need 99+ exhaust manifolds but no you won't need a new tranny. Good luck oh and if you want the parts from one place contact www.velocitymustangperformance.com
