St. Louis - Need Your Help For Trip Planning

    Hey Gang:

    I have a 10 year old son that is just about as big of a car guy as you will ever find. For his "special trip" this year, he wanted to hit the World Street Challenge in St. Louis, (actually he wanted to go to the WFC, but you are not having that any more). So, I have the tickets. and we will be there on May 16th. I have two questions:

    1) Is there anyplace in St. Louis that rents very cool cars such as modified Stangs, old school muscle, or what he really would like - a Dodge Ram Quad Cab with Hemi (I know, not a Stang, but he loves them)?

    2) Do any of you know if they will be having a pre-race party anywhere like the NMRA does at local Hooters. He would love to go and see a burn out contest, plus he is totally into bodacious babes!!!

    Thanks for at least considering us. With regards to your comment above - I'm actually the lucky one. He is really a cool kid. For him, the cup is always 1/2 full, life is about having fun and making people laugh. I hope that he never loses his love of life, and I enjoy every minute that we have together.

    I do know there are a ton of car rental agencies around the Lambert Airport in STL. You might try calling around and see what they might have or who they might know who could help you out.

    As for your 2nd request, I cannot help much there.

    Thanks for the idea. I have done so, and had my travel agent looking. So far, nothing. They have even called up several car dealers in St. Louis. We found one place that rents old school muscle, but they are booked for that weekend.

    Timeless - if possible, it would be much better to have N20Jnky as my name... I have not used Idlechater for several years and everyone knows me and my car by N20Jnky...
