Most of the ones I wanted were taken. I had it narrowed down to 05PONY and STANG2K5 and went with the later. 05PONY is still available in NY
Thank You. I'll try to get the wife to bust out the digital camera tomorrow since it is forcasted to be sunny here in NY
good deal !! I should have mine by next week(the personalized plate that is) I will post pic's as well !
STANG2K5...yes, it could only be owned by one person in your state...obviously you. However, as with all vanity plates, they are only exclusive in ownership within the state they are registered in. There could easily be 49 others across the country, that might soon make the same claim. I suspect too, that someone else will soon own (the reverse) 2K5STANG...which would basically represent the same thing. Then there's the upcoming '06 owners... In any case, I like it. As you can see by my screename, I did a similar thing using roman numerals to reference my 1976 Cobra, even though my license plates are something different altogether. Here's a few using that thinking, some '05 owners might consider: MMV-GT MMVSTANG MMVPONY and my personal favorite: NOIUP-V6
Thank You. Let me rephrase ... I am now the sole owner of "STANG2K5" License Plate for my 2005 Stang in New York State
I won't be owning an '05 for a while, since I'm still in college, but my mom's thinking about getting one and getting a plate that says MY05LNR for "My 05 Eleanor." Or just "Eleanor"
Not really. Not all states allow 8 letters. Some (like mine) are limited to 7 letters on vanity plates.
7 letters only in IL- and you cannot have a number in-between letters- numbers have to come first or last in the sequence. Thats why I got GDYUP V 8- oh, and you have to have a space between letters and #'s! Many rules in IL
I've been debating which plate to order for about a month now and I just applied yesterday for GTYUPV8. The others I was considering were: SONOF68 NDSADLE 6YSTEED CMYHOSS DROOLON SEXYP51 RWND268 P51CRZY RTROP51 ITS1968 STNGNUT LGNDLVS PNY5150 BADENUF CMY3RD1 AGR8PNY P51LOVR MSAGRO You'll need to read the last one backwards.
